      Panel Description: What is inclusion and why does it matter to companies now? Does it matter more to the big corporations or equally as important in the startup sector? Can you define inclusion? Inclusion is a call to action within the workforce that means actively involving every employee's ideas, knowledge, perspectives, approaches, and styles to maximize business success. So now that we all know how to describe inclusion, let's talk about how we wholly adopt it in the workplace.

      Panel Description: The #MeToo movement feverishly began our nation's awareness & discussions surrounding inequality. Now that (most) recognize the gender disparity issue running rampant in our country, it's on us to implement lasting change. The panel will discuss the lessons big corp business, startups, and VC firms have learned in the year following Harvey Weinstein's allegations that gave such rise to the #MeToo movement. We will also explore best practices for policies and procedures to ensure not only legal compliance, but to support a culture of inclusion through employee recruiting, mentoring, and training.
