Women Investing in Women
October, 24th 2018 | 8:30AM - 2:00PM
To kickoff FUND Conference Chicago 2018, we are offering exclusive entry to Women Investing in Women (WiW).
Taking place on October 24th from 8:30AM to 2PM at Polsinelli Law Firm located at 150 N Riverside Plaza, this one day event is open at no additional charge to exhibiting entrepreneurs, sponsors and just 100 additional ticket holders.
As you likely know, FUND Conference is all about connections, capital, and content. But do you know female business owners are significantly disadvantaged in the receipt of venture capital funding with only 2% of VC investments? Even worse, female founders of color receive a fraction of that.
We here at FUND Conference believe it's our duty and extreme privilege to promote each other and support investment in women-owned companies. In order to do this, we're launching FUND's 2nd Women Investing in Women event to discuss, support, and move the needle together.
The purpose of the day is to create relationships to solve problems and generate deal flow for women-owned companies and the investors, service providers and communities who support them.
The event will provide keynotes, fireside discussions, and panels focused on the state of diverse investments along with a working lunch to match attendees with the resources they need to grow their business.
The overwhelming positive response from the 1st WiW in Austin has us excited for this seminar.
To attend, first secure your ticket to FUND Conference. During the registration process, you will notate whether or not you plan to be in attendance at WiW. A questionnaire allowing us to better pair you for WiW's networking session will then be emailed to you. Completion of this short survey will secure your spot at this FUND-tastic event.
This is a limited seating event and will sell out quickly. If you did not receive a confirmation email stating your name has been added to the guest list, you will not be allowed entry upon arrival. Should you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
