Code of Conduct

FUND Conference, both through our mobile application and in-person events, are intended for networking and collaboration amongst the early-stage and innovation communities. We’re not here to tell you what to do or how to act, and we assume that the majority of people are smart and well-intended. We want all FUND community members to have an enjoyable, fulfilling, and great experience, again, both online and offline. Thus, we all have an expected responsibility to show respect and courtesy to others.

The Short Version

FUND is dedicated to providing a harassment and conflict-free conference experience for all participants regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, national origin, political affiliation, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of conference & expo participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery, verbal threats or demands, offensive comments, intimidation, stalking, sustained disruption of sessions or events, and unwelcome physical contact — all are not appropriate for any conference venue. Conference & expo participants violating this Code of Conduct may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference & expo without a refund, and/or banned from future events, at the discretion of FUND Conference organizers.

Please bring any concerns to the immediate attention of our team by calling or texting +1-317-670-1319. We are available to help and/or talk 24/7.

The Long Version

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual or discriminatory attention. Harassment also includes slights and negative messages, both unintended and intentional, based solely on appearance (sometimes called microaggressions).

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Sponsors and vendors are also subject to our anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualized or discriminatory images, activities, or other material. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not use sexualized or discriminatory clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualized or discriminatory environment. If a community participant engages in harassing behavior, staff may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or immediate expulsion from the event or venue without refund.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of our team immediately by calling or texting +1-317-670-1319. We are available to help or talk 24/7. Our staff will be happy to help community participants contact event or venue security or local law enforcement, provide safe escort, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of their time with us. We value you as part of our community.

We expect participants to follow these rules at all FUND Conference events, venues, FUND-related social events, and technology spaces.

Many thanks to the teams at SaaStr and DeveloperWeek, whose Code of Conducts inspired the shaping of our own.
